Prices continued to fall on the cotton market on Saturday in the process of moderate trading, dealers said. The official spot rate slid by Rs 50 to Rs 5,000, they added. Thus, the spot rate lost Rs 150 due to higher arrivals of seed cotton, they said.
In the ready session, around 20,000 bales of cotton changed hands at Rs 4250-5225, they said. In Sindh, rates of seed cotton were firm at Rs 2000 and Rs 2500, in Punjab prices were unchanged at Rs 2400 and Rs 2650, they said. Market sources said
