Trading remained brisk with fine lint in focus amid firm spot rate, traders at the Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) said on Thursday.
Mills made deals for fine and other grades on competitive prices to fortify their inventories while the KCA kept the spot rate intact at Rs 6,000 per maund in order to support baseline prices, floor brokers said.

The Government of Bangladesh has taken steps for resumption of construction work by next month for the upcoming 'garment village' in Munshiganj, according to a Financial Express report.
The Government envisages relocation of about 1,000 apparel units to the garment village by January 2014.
