On Thursday Tom Ford announced that he will be presenting his men's and women's collections in NYC during New York Fashion Week on February 18. Ford has done presentations at his London headquarters in the past, but this is the first time he has opted to show both his men's and women's collections in New York.

Diane von Furstenburg is working on expanding her presence in the Middle East. Four new stores are set to open in Dubai as the result of a partnership agreement with Dubai-based holding company Al Tayer Group.
The new boutiques will be at key locations in the emirate, including City Centre Mirdif, Festival City, City Walk, and Mall of the Emirates. The Al Tayer Group currently operates a DVF store in Dubai.

It's doom at gloom at Italian luxury fashion house Prada, who has seen its share price hit a new low.
The company saw its net profits fall further than anyone had expected with business in key markets such as Hong Kong and Macau deteriorating in the three months through October.
Not that the year as a whole has been at all good for Prada, but the problems seem to have accelerated in Q3 as a comparison with the figures for the first nine months of the year show.

London Fashion Week may be losing Jonathan Saunders, but it will mark the return of Alexander McQueen, who will show its Autumn Winter 2016 collection in London instead of Paris.
This will mark the brand's first womenswear catwalk in London since the death of its founder in 2010. The show is scheduled during London Fashion Week at 7pm on Sunday, February 21, although no location has been announced.

Supermodel Coco Rocha has confirmed that she will be launching her debut fashion line, a 60-piece contemporary sportswear collection, which will be sold via her website, CocoRocha.com.
The sports-inspired collection entitled Co + Co by Coco Rocha is a joint venture project with Los Angeles-based company, Paragon Project, and her artist husband James Conran.
